Los dos primeros Uchi-Deshi de Sô Shihan Raymond Thomas llegamos al BUTOKUDEN “La Sala de las Virtudes Marciales” de Kyoto, con una ilusión desbordante, no solamente ibamos a defender en ENBU-SAI a la Escuela Honden Miura-ryū Nihon-den-ryū sōhei-ha heihō, sino que además, lo ibamos a dedicar al Maestro ausente, a aquel Maestro que nos inició en algo que el llamaba Goshin-Sohei Miura-Ryû a principios de los años 80, que nos rompió todo los esquemas, que supo mostrarnos las diferencias de los Legados Koryû.
Muchos años de lucha, desesperanza, sacrifio y porque no decirlo obstinación, nos condujeron perseverantes en el camino, hacía una meta pedida por el antes de fallecer en 1985, lograda a fuerza de tesón, de fidelidad, de lealtad, de honor, tal vez esto en el Siglo XXI no sea entendido por muchos en su mentalidad modernista, pero los que bebinos de dicha fuente de conocimientos nos podrá comprender y los que siguen Legados de Linaje también.
No llegamos con los jóvenes 28 años que compartíamos al conocerlo, llegamos 28 años después con ya 56 más que respetables, pero con el deslumbramiento y confusión de haber conseguido una quimera, un sueño esperanzado en la creencia profunda y la confianza en conseguirlo.
Wilfredo Alberto Morillo Ramírez y yo pisamos las tablas emblemáticas del BUTOKUDEN en el año 2011, muchos españoles me habían precedido en ese Honor con diferentes Linajes Koryû y/o disciplinas Gendaï, pero a Wilfredo “Willy” le cupo otro muy significativo para él, fue el primer Sensei Venezolano en hacerlo, desplegando su Bandera en el interior de las históricas pardedes que nos estaban cobijando y admitiendo en ellas peregrinos de la verdad.
TAKAMATSU Tôru Dai Sōshō (1923 –2008) de la Escuela Honden Miura-ryū Nihon-den-ryū sōhei-ha heihō creemos que estaría orgulloso en ese momento, pero THOMAS Raymond (1920-1985) vió así materializadas sus últimas voluntades y el juramento que se le hizo por ellas. Descasen los dos en Paz.

The first two Uchi-Deshi of Sô Shihan Raymond Thomas arrived at the BUTOKUDEN «The Hall of Martial Virtues» in Kyoto, with an overwhelming illusion, not only were we going to defend the Honden Miura-ryū Nihon-den School in ENBU-SAI, ryū sōhei-ha heihō, but also, we were going to dedicate it to the absent Master, to that Master who initiated us into something he called Goshin-Sohei Miura-Ryû in the early 1980s, who broke all our schemes, who He knew how to show us the differences of the Koryû Legacies.
Many years of struggle, despair, sacrifice and why not say it obstinacy, led us persevering along the way, towards a goal requested by him before he died in 1985, achieved by dint of determination, fidelity, loyalty, honor, perhaps This in the 21st century is not understood by many in their modernist mentality, but those who drink from this source of knowledge will be able to understand us and those who follow Lineage Legacies as well.

TAKAMATSU Tôru Dai Sōshō (1923 –2008) of the Honden Miura-ryū Nihon-den-ryū sōhei-ha heihō School we believe that he would be proud at that moment, but THOMAS Raymond (1920-1985) thus saw his last wishes materialized and the oath that was made by them. Rest both in Peace.
